According to PANews, London-based neobank Revolut is actively exploring the issuance of its own stablecoin. Sources familiar with the matter have revealed that Revolut is in discussions with at least one crypto-native company. In recent years, as regulatory environments in the United States and globally have evolved, an increasing number of non-crypto companies are considering the issuance of stablecoins. Revolut currently serves over 55 million retail customers and 500,000 business clients across 160 countries.
