Innerhalb von 24 Stunden wurden insgesamt Positionen im Wert von 1,53 Milliarden Dollar liquidiert; etwa 83,8 % davon waren „Long“-Positionen, bei denen auf steigende Preise gesetzt wurde. Diese Zahl misst den Gesamtwert der geschlossenen Positionen, nicht das Geld, das den Anlegern aus der Tasche gezogen wurde. 💸
⚙️ Hebelwirkung ist, als würde man mit wenig Geld einen größeren Handel eröffnen. Bewegt sich der Preis weit genug in die entgegengesetzte Richtung, reicht die Sicherheitsleistung nicht mehr aus und die Börse schließt die Position zwangsweise. Diese Verkäufe können den Kursrückgang noch beschleunigen. Der Bericht bringt die Verkaufswelle mit der Zeit nach dem Sicherheitsvorfall bei Binance in Verbindung.
