A few updates we made for the algorithm adjustment in the past 2 weeks:
1. Comment something worth reading will show on top, spammy comments with repetitive replies will be buried.
2. Tag $BTC on everything unrelated won’t get you extra reach, it gets you less.
3. Giveaway $$$ Ask the audience to follow and claim? You won’t ship any further except your own followers.
4. Algorithms learn from real interactions. You can make more meaningful comments, replies and likes, and creators can reply with real conversations. Fake engagement gets de-boosted.
5. Click “Not Interested” more on a certain type of content you dislike and you'll see less of it. If it's not working, let us know.

We are grateful to receive feedback on our verification criteria from our community.
By the end of June, Binance Square will introduce another verification track for the purpose of authenticity. Creators with a certain number of followers on Square and major social platforms will be able to verify themselves through their social accounts and get verified on Square. The verification badge will remain active as long as the creator fulfills a minimum posting requirement during the verification period.
The current verification badge still serves the purpose of recognizing those who fulfilled certain views or Write to Earn volume requirements. Your badge will be upgraded to a verification + activity badge as an extra recognition. For creators who got verified under these requirements in Q2 2026, your verification + activity badge will be extended to Q3 as a gesture of appreciation.
Details will be shared once we launch the verification portal.

Binance Square Verification Checkmark
What is a Binance Square Verification Checkmark?
Verified badges are used to determine the account belongs to the person or brand they claim to represent. This verification badge helps you make knowledgeable choices about who to follow and the content to interact with. As always though, it's essential to Do Your Own Research and to report any suspicious content, ensuring you follow authentic, intentioned experts.
We bestow two sorts of verification badges, placed at the bottom right of the avatar. A black checkmark is for official Binance accounts, while a gold one is granted to influencers, media entities, organizations, and notable individuals.
Requirement to apply for a Golden Verification Checkmark?
General criteria for the Golden Verification Checkmark:
Credibility: Must adhere to the Binance Square Community Management Guidelines and Binance Square Terms and Conditions.* Binance Square reserves the right to potentially revoke verification status upon review of violation records, if any.Authenticity: Must pass the Binance account verification process.Activity: Must be active with regular engagement and posts on Binance Square.
Specific Requirements for Different Account Types:
1. KOLs
Own 30,000 followers or more followers on Binance Square. The account must be active.
Definition of active account
This quarter has accumulated a total of 300K views, ORThis quarter's Write to Earn volume has reached an equivalent of 1M USD.
2. Media
Operate as a reputable media company that covers news, blogs, reports, or analysis-based content actively.You may be asked to provide additional information for profile verification. You won't be able to set your user name to match your company name until your account has been verified.
3. Business/Organizations
Crypto, Web 3, Fintech, or traditional tech companies; agencies, funds, market analysis platforms, and aggregate trading platforms that are interested to share crypto updates on Square.You may be asked to provide additional information for profile verification. You won't be able to set your user name to match your company name until your account has been verified.
4. Projects
Only projects that are already listed on Binance will qualify for the badge.You might be asked to provide additional details to verify your profile. You won’t be able to set a user name equal to your project name (or any project name) until your account has been verified.
How to apply?
KOLs Self-service option on your Binance Square personal profile page.
Personal Profile → Edit Profile → Apply Now
Once the application is approved, you will receive expert certification. Other users can also access the application page directly through the link.
2. Media, Business/Organizations, Projects
We reserve the right to invite project teams, media, and other influential figures who consistently publish crypto-related content to obtain Binance Square Creator Verification. The verification will be strictly reviewed according to platform standards, and the platform retains the final approval authority.

Over the past few days, we’ve made three updates to the algorithm:
1. Engagement farming will be detected and reach will be deprioritized, applicable to CreatorPad’s content. You can share your content, reply to replies and drive engagement, but our system will know which are the true engagement from different users when they see your content recommended, and we encourage authentic sharing and comment.
2. Likes, shares, or comments will not be counted multiple times. If you like a content five times, it will only count as one.
3. Content generated entirely by AI will be de-boosted, and traffic will be allocated to content created organically on Square. Volume doesn’t help, we care about authentic posts, creators and engagements.
We’ve heard your concerns about CreatorPad. Starting with the next round, truthful content based on real personal experience, thoughtful sharing and analysis will receive higher points. Content involving any farming behavior, including comments and views will be reduced. The number of views and comments will no longer directly determine how many points you receive. What matters instead is quality content (not spammy, not entirely AI-generated, and not repetitive), along with real engagement from people as mentioned above in 1.
