why use a "private" chain at all?
the money still has to clear an audit eventually
that's the actual problem confidential DeFi has ignored for years. people want privacy, sure, but someone still has to see something eventually, full opacity and regulated finance just don't mix
DuskEVM is Dusk's answer: same Solidity you already know, wrapped through Hedger so the contract state stays sealed until the one party with the key needs to open it. homomorphic encryption doing the sealing, ZK proving nothing got faked in the meantime
