Here is the August 13 Oracle Daily Report. Behind a seemingly perfect scorecard, some warning lights are flashing.
We tracked 21 assets across 10 providers, capturing 1,000 price snapshots. Data collection hit 100% uptime, yet the network health score is just 60, labeled "At Risk."
The most jarring number comes from API3. Its XRP feed deviated from consensus by 116.92%. That is not volatility. That is signal distortion. Positions relying on this source are facing liquidation uncertainty unlike anything we have seen recently.
WBTC posted the most severe peg divergence of the day at 40.17%. In our lending protocol stress tests, Venus Protocol on BNB Chain had the thinnest buffer, with a health factor of only 3.35. If joint oracle deviation hits 67.16%, its benchmark position gets pushed straight into liquidation territory.
96 anomalies. 52 critical. Average deviation at 1.849% and still climbing.
In DeFi, oracles are not just backend infrastructure. They are the frontline, the firewall, the last line of defense. When divergence crosses 100%, every percentage point can mean millions in liquidations. Do not let 100% uptime become an excuse for complacency.
