I've realized there's a big difference between holding Bitcoin and actually using it without compromising what makes it valuable.
For the longest time, putting $BTC to work usually meant giving up custody, relying on wrapped assets, or accepting extra trust assumptions. That never sat right with me because it went against the reason I chose Bitcoin in the first place.
What I like about @BabylonLabs_io is how its Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBVs) approach the problem differently. Instead of asking users to trade security for utility, they make it possible to keep self-custody while unlocking new ways for Bitcoin to be useful.
Holding Bitcoin protects your wealth. Deploying it securely expands what your Bitcoin can do without giving up control. To me, that's the kind of progress Bitcoin DeFi should be built on.
