NEAR co-founder Illia Polosukhin has proposed creating a NEAR sovereign wealth fund that would hold protocol treasury and revenue in NEAR tokens, generate yield, and allocate part of the proceeds to security and public goods. According to ChainCatcher, the long-term goal of the proposal is to reduce inflation.
