SBI Crypto just pulled the plug on its mining pool. TODAY.
20.9 EH/s — 2.2% of Bitcoin's entire network — goes dark on July 31. That's not a small miner packing up. That's a giant leaving the game.
Here's what I'm watching:
→ Hash rate redistribution = short-term volatility for BTC
→ Miner capitulation signals often mark local bottoms
KAS and other PoW coins could absorb some of that fleeing hash power
Mining pools are consolidating. Fewer players controlling more hash rate is a long-term centralization risk. But short-term? This smells like forced selling and exhaustion.
Check the hash rate heatmap before you FOMO in.
Is this the miner capitulation event that marks the bottom, or just the beginning of more pain?
NFA. DYOR. My view only.
