Standard Chartered Forecasts Ethereum to Reach $7,500 by the End of 2026
Standard Chartered believes that 2026 will be a pivotal year for Ethereum, with $ETH projected to reach $7,500 by year-end.
According to Geoffrey Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Assets Research at the bank, Ethereum outperforms other cryptocurrencies due to its dominant position in stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets (RWA), and decentralized finance (DeFi).
The bank has also significantly raised its long-term price targets for ETH, forecasting:
• $15,000 by the end of 2027
• $22,000 in 2028
• $40,000 by 2030
The report highlights that stablecoins account for 35–40% of Ethereum’s total transaction volume, reinforcing ETH’s role as the core infrastructure of on-chain finance.
Standard Chartered expects the stablecoin and tokenized asset market to grow to $2 trillion by 2028, with the majority of this activity taking place on the Ethereum network, further solidifying Ethereum’s long-term growth thesis.
