One thing that stood out to me about today’s SBC ‘26 talk isn’t the “1000× cheaper” headline. It’s why that efficiency matters. Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV) depend on cryptographic proofs to unlock BTC without relying on bridges or custodians. If verifying those proofs is too expensive, the model struggles to scale. BABE, presented by Babylon co-founder @dntse, tackles that bottleneck by making zero-knowledge proof verification on Bitcoin dramatically more practical while keeping on-chain costs low. That could be a meaningful step toward making native Bitcoin collateral usable across broader ecosystems without sacrificing Bitcoin’s trust model. I’ll definitely be reading the BABE research paper after the session. @BabylonLabs_io $BABY #baby
