A Closer Look at the Scale of National Debt

To provide some context on our economic landscape, the US debt sat at roughly $9.5 trillion back in 2008, just prior to the Great Financial Crisis, commonly known as the GFC. Fast forward to today, and we are witnessing US Bonds crash while the US Debt rapidly approaches the $39 trillion mark. It can be difficult to conceptualize such massive figures. If you were to spend exactly $1 every single minute, it would take you 32,000 years to run through $1 trillion. Despite this, the US Government is currently printing approximately $1 trillion every 90 days.

Faced with this reality, what do you plan to do? Will your strategy simply be to save money? There is a good reason why the book Rich Dad Poor Dad shares a different perspective. One of the 3 rules of $ taught by the rich dad character states clearly that the rich do not save money.

Following that logic, my personal strategy has involved accumulating tangible and digital assets over the years. I have collected real silver since 1965 and real gold since 1971. As new technologies emerged, I started acquiring Bitcoin in 2012, and I added Ethereum to my holdings starting in 2022.

When it comes to physical metals, my gold and silver are securely stored in Swiss vaults located outside of Switzerland. This specific precaution is necessary because the US has a known history of criminalizing the private ownership of gold and confiscating it directly from its citizens.

That is exactly what I have been doing to navigate the economy. What are you doing?

Please take care. We are currently living through incredibly chaotic times in world history.
