Devs trying to emergency-fork $BTC consensus rules over manufactured FUD?

This is how you kill decentralization.

No emergency justifies rushing consensus changes. That's the whole point of Bitcoin - immutable rules, not dev committee decisions.

If this precedent gets set, every future "crisis" becomes an excuse to override the network.

We've seen this movie before in other chains. It never ends well.
