I’m watching the same things happen again, I’m waiting for systems that are supposed to work together to finally stop pretending, I’m looking at screens filled with information that should already be connected, I’ve spent enough time around this space to know when friction is being ignored, I focus on small delays because they never stay small. One extra click. One more tab. One more tool. Nothing serious on its own, yet somehow everything feels slower than it should.
I used think this was temporary. Early-stage problems. Growing pains. But then the years kept moving and people started accepting the mess. Data sits in one place. Actions happen somewhere else. Decisions require another window. The same information gets checked, copied, verified, repeated. Again and again. Not broken enough to force change. Just inefficient enough to waste attention.
That irritation is what keeps pulling me back.
Then I keep seeing Genius Terminal appear in the corner of my attention. Not as something revolutionary. Not immediately. More like something I'm testing against a problem I've become tired of watching. The idea of a private and final on-chain terminal sounds simple, maybe too simple. But simplicity is usually where I start paying attention.
