$ARDR caught my attention today because of an unusually large spike in trading volume.
High volume is often one of the most interesting signals in the market, but it doesn't automatically tell us whether buyers or sellers are in control. It simply tells us that participation has increased significantly.
When I see a move like this, I usually focus on a few questions:
• Is the volume supported by a real catalyst?
• Does momentum remain strong after the initial spike?
• Are market participants holding positions or taking profits?
• Does liquidity stay elevated over the next few sessions?
The biggest mistake is often assuming that high volume guarantees continuation. Sometimes it marks the beginning of a trend. Other times it marks the peak of attention.
For now, I'm less interested in predicting the next move and more interested in seeing how the market reacts once the excitement cools down.
What do you think unusual volume tells us: growing conviction or short-term speculation?
