Choosing coins comes down to a few simple rules. Everything else is noise.
Most people rush into green candles, buy late, panic on dips, then blame the market. I used to do the same. Now I keep it simple:
1. Start from the gainers list.
If a coin has no momentum and no attention, don’t force it.
2. Ignore short-term noise.
Focus on the monthly MACD. Golden cross = strength. No signal = no trade.
3. Respect the 70-day line.
Add only on healthy pullbacks with volume confirmation.
4. Cut losses fast.
The word “wait” has destroyed more portfolios than bad entries.
5. Take profits in stages.
30% move? Secure some.
50% move? Secure more.
Greed ruins consistency.
6. Most important rule:
If price loses the 70-day line, exit.
Don’t argue with the market.
Crypto rewards discipline more than intelligence.
How many of these rules can you actually follow?
