As of today, it's clear that even with 10 billion Pi coins in circulation, fewer than 1 million will qualify to operate at GCV value. Why? Because many Pi coins have been transferred to exchanges, permanently losing their Purity Badge ✅.
Dr. Nicolas once said, “Every Pi is scarce and valuable. Those who stay committed till the end will achieve greatness.”
Dr. Chengdiao Fan added, “10 Pi is enough for a generation—Pi is truly non-conformist!”
Pi mining is nearing its end. Once the global open mainnet launches:
Gas fees will drop
Pi will have its own contract address on the Pi Blockchain
Up to 300 nodes will go live
Pi Blockchain Explorer will show the real-time Pi value
Your Pi wallet in the Pi Browser will show USD equivalent under your balance
Your Pi wallet will display two kinds of balances:
1. Contribution Balance – Mined Pi that was never sent to any exchange. It retains the Purity Badge ✅ and qualifies for GCV.
2. Non-Contribution Balance – Pi sent to an exchange at any point. This loses the Purity Badge ✅ forever and can't be used at GCV.
There’s no shortcut. To earn Pi with a Purity Badge ✅, you must:
Create a Pi account
Mine for at least 30 days
Complete KYC
Join the migration queue
Once migrated, your mined Pi will be moved to your Pi Browser wallet with the Purity Badge ✅—but if transferred to any exchange, even temporarily, the badge is lost forever.
