Brazil Central Bank Officials to Attend Rio Conference on Cryptocurrency Reserves

According to Foresight News, the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) will send six officials to participate in the Central Bank Autumn Meeting in Rio de Janeiro from November 19 to 21, 2025. The conference will address topics such as central bank-held cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin reserves, as well as central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The BCB is currently discussing the creation of the Drex digital currency, which is intended to complement the existing Pix digital currency in the country.
