I am new to copy trade and I have a question.
I recently started copying a lead trader with Fixed ratio.
If I understand right, the idea is that once a lead trader executes a trade, a similar trade will be copied for my account but proportionately. e.g if lead trader has USD 1000 as balance and executes a trade of USD 500. Then me as a copy trader who has USD 100 as balance, will have a trade executed for USD 50.
If that is the case, I should be able to copy all trades of my lead unless my proportionate trade is below the minimum for the trading pair.
But, recently my account did not copy a few of my lead trader's trades and I received a notification of insufficient balance. That shouldn't be the case if my balance is proportionately allocated. I should always be able to copy my lead unless my amount is below the minimum for that trading pair, and it was not the case in my scenario.
What am I missing ?

Although we're all expecting the best, you still can't predict what the outcome may be.
So it's better you know anything can happen and prepare accordingly.
Also make sure you don't get in with every money on you. Go in with a part which when you loss, wouldn't affect you much.
