Why is Binance Square flooded with beggars, and what’s being done about it?
Have you noticed it too? You open your feed looking for alpha gems or market analysis, but all you see is: "Send me 1 USDT," "Help me reach my dream," or "I lost everything, please donate."
Why are there so many?
Low Entry Barrier: Anyone can create an account and start spamming their Pay ID, hoping to catch a "charitable whale."The "Easy Money" Trap: Many newcomers mistake the crypto market for a charity fund instead of putting in the work to learn trading or analysis.Bot Activity: A large portion of these posts are automated bots designed to clutter the space and fish for small tips.
What is Binance doing about it?
The platform is actively working to improve content quality:
✅ Stricter Moderation: Binance Square is implementing better filters for keywords like "Pay ID," "send money," and "donate."
✅ Reporting System: We can speed up the cleanup. If you see a beggar, hit the report button for "Spam" or "Inappropriate Content."
✅ Algorithm Updates: Low-quality posts that offer zero value are increasingly being shadowbanned or pushed out of the "Recommended" feed.
The Verdict: Begging is not a crypto strategy. It’s noise that hinders community growth. If you want to make money, study the charts, read the news, and Do Your Own Research (DYOR).
