Why Does Crypto Crash at the End of Every Year?! Lately there’s been a lot of talk about pumps and dumps some people even predicting an imminent altcoin explosion. How accurate is that? ‼️ I’ll give you my view based on personal experience and practice. 👇 Fifteen days ago I posted, that the market would crash in month 12 what I call “bear month and drop below $3T. Since then, the crypto market has indeed lost more than $300 billion in value. So what did I base that prediction on? Over the past four years, whenever we hit December the market has entered a bear phase. Why? In recent years crypto has split into many sectors, each with its own trend cycle. That’s why we see new listings active in Q1, then memecoin runs, then new project cohorts. A few years ago it was AI and gaming tokens; last year it was Telegram bots. Also, many crypto projects expect a heavy drop near Christmas, so project teams think: instead of losing 40% of project funds during the crash and abandoning investors, I’ll withdraw liquidity now and come back at the start of the year with a new launch. After that, project collapses follow as we’ve seen recently often without a clear trigger, which makes it look normal. Liquidity withdrawals are then dressed up with excuses like “hack,” “high operating costs,” or other weak pretexts that practically legitimize theft. So lot of traders thinks that no matter how the market resists, its fate is to crash in December even if it fights early on. This is a personal opinion and viewpoint based on market experience.
