Let’s break down how these scams work — and how you can protect yourself. 🚨 🔍 What’s Hapening P2P (peer-to-peer) trading lets users buy & sell crypto directly using local bank transfers. Binance provides an escrow system, but scammers are exploiting loopholes —especially when users communicate or transact outside the platform. ⚠️ Common P2P Scams in Pakistan 1️⃣ Fake Payment Proof Scam Scammers send fake screenshots of payments and pressure you to release crypto. Always verify funds in your bank account — not from screenshots. 2️⃣ Third-Party Bank Scam The buyer pays from someone else’s account. Later, the real owner reverses the payment, freezing your bank account. 3️⃣ Overpayment Trap They “accidentally” send extra money and ask for a refund.
