🚨 An Early Black Friday (in October) the leverage died so price can live • BTC tagged $126.1k, then a $19B futures flush nuked OI (≈ –$10B/day, cycle-scale). • ETF bid faded (–2.3k BTC wk) while LTHs kept distributing (~0.3M BTC since July). • Funding smashed to 2022-FTX lows, E/L reset; spot was orderly (Binance sell pressure, Coinbase absorption). • Options IV spiked to ~76%, 1-wk skew to +17% put-rich, then cooled — classic vol shock. • Regime = reset: leverage flushed, sentiment cautious; recovery needs renewed ETF creations + on-chain accumulation above $114–117k cost cluster. Playbook (not advice): fade panic puts, sell rich front-end vol, stagger bids $108–117k, re-risk only if ETF inflows re-accelerate. Not ‘the top’ .. it was Thanksgiving-level de-risking in October. If the structural bid returns, the next leg launches from a cleaner base.
