Here’s my read: Bitcoin just digested one of the biggest liquidation waves yet—and it’s chilling at 114.9K like nothing happened. The rebound wasn’t impulsive; it was methodical. Smart money clearly bought the dip, but they’re not pushing momentum—yet. On the 1H, candles are tight with equal rejection both ways—classic post-washout compression. That structure screams liquidity rebuild: whales letting weak hands make the next move. The 113.5K–115.8K range looks engineered to trap both breakout buyers and panic shorts. Zooming out, that liquidation wick on the daily is just a data scar. Until we see a solid close above 116.2K, this is stabilization—not reversal. Real reclaims come from body pushes, not wick teases. Three veteran whales have opened shorts here. One of them—the same OG who nailed the Trump tariff play and pocketed $192M—is back in. They don’t chase volatility; they front-run it. That doesn’t guarantee a dump, but it suggests they’re eyeing better entries lower. The order book still favors bids over asks, yet the price hasn’t expanded—that’s absorption, not pressure. If that bid wall pulls, you’ll see it first in candle bodies before indicators even blink. The line that actually matters: 112.8K. Break it with conviction, and BTC could slide into 108–106K fast. Defend it and close above 116K, and late shorts get squeezed—the trend resumes. Right now, BTC isn’t bullish or broken. It’s hunting stops, not targets. The question is who blinks first: the OG shorts or the liquidity stack under 113K.
