$BTC Will Peck, a top leader at WisdomTree, says that crypto index ETFs will bring the next big wave of people into the crypto market. He says these ETFs are good for beginners because they let people invest in many different cryptocurrencies at the same time, instead of choosing one coin and taking higher risk. According to him, most new investors understand Bitcoin, but they don’t know which other 20 or more coins are good. Crypto index ETFs solve this problem by giving safe and wide exposure to the whole crypto sector. This year, companies like 21Shares and Hashdex have already launched new index ETFs, especially after the SEC changed some rules. Peck believes that many more ETFs will come soon. But he also thinks that if too many are launched, the idea that “an ETF means a project is trusted” may become weaker.
