🚀 U.S. May Shift to Blockchain by 2027 – SEC Chair
The US financial system could run on blockchain within two years, according to SEC Chair Paul Atkins. He says the next phase of markets will rely on digital assets, tokenization, and stronger transparency as traditional assets move on-chain.
Wall Street giants agree — BlackRock’s Larry Fink believes tokenization is at the same stage the internet was in 1996 and will unlock wider market access. Tokenized Treasury bills have already surged past $8B, with projections nearing $400B by 2026.
The SEC is also rolling out a new “innovation exemption” in January, allowing certain crypto products to launch without full registration — a major shift from past policies.
A big step toward a fully tokenized financial future.
