#Ethereum Fusaka Upgrade Is LIVE and Most People Don’t Realize How Big This Is $ETH just unlocked one of the biggest performance boosts in its history, and the market is still sleeping on it. The last major upgrade (Pectra) sent ETH up 50% in a week. Fusaka is even bigger. What Problem Is Fusaka Solving? Ethereum has been dealing with Layer 2 data congestion. Rollups like Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and zkSync keep sending huge data blobs back to Ethereum and every node has to download all of it. This causes: Slower network Higher bandwidth usage Higher L2 fees Fusaka fixes this with three major upgrades 👇 Bigger Blocks (45M → 150M Gas) Ethereum can now fit 3× more: Transactions Smart contracts Rollup data More space = more activity = more ETH burned. PeerDAS: Faster, Cheaper Data Handling Nodes no longer need to download full blobs. They only verify tiny random pieces instead.
