Prices weakened after 270 million dollars in liquidations, with rising US Treasury yields and gold adding pressure ahead of next week’s FOMC meeting. More than 36,000 $BTC options worth 3.5 billion dollars expire today. The put call ratio is 0.92, showing neutral positioning. Bitcoin’s max pain sits at 91,000 dollars, slightly below current levels. Deribit data shows a strong chance of BTC closing near or above that area even as traders hedge for volatility. XRP has already fallen below that point, trading near 2.08 dollars as whale selling and ETF flows battle for control. Solana options worth 12.5 million dollars expire with a max pain of 132 dollars. SOL trades above that level but remains at risk of dropping toward the strike as selling activity increases.
