A Reality Check on Crypto & Leverage The crypto market is going through a rough patch. In November 2025, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana — along with many altcoins — posted steep losses, as the entire crypto market lost more than $1 trillion of value in just a few weeks. Why? Several factors collided: Slowing demand from big investors and institutions — some companies are even liquidating large crypto holdings. A wave of forced liquidations and margin‑calls: the crash triggered cascading sell orders, especially hurting those using leverage. Macro and macro‑financial stress: changing expectations around interest‑rates, global economic uncertainty and weaker risk sentiment pushed many investors away from volatile assets. leverage is dangerous in this environment. Attention to leverage! Many people think leverage is a shortcut to quick profits, but it’s truly risky. By using leverage, you risk losing money you don’t actually own, and even if you earn profits, the danger of losing everything is always present. I’d like to share my personal experience: I initially started without leverage and managed to grow my funds from €2,400 to €3,200 just by using spot trading. I thought I could earn even more, so I turned to leverage, and that’s when I lost everything. I ended up borrowing €700, hoping to recover, but unfortunately, I lost that as well. When you start making money, it’s easy to get tempted and believe you can earn even more, but the harsh reality is that the wealthy get wealthier, while others can easily lose everything. Investing only with your own funds ensures that your profits are genuinely yours. With leverage, even if you earn, it might be illusory, because you can just as easily lose it all. In summary, use leverage sparingly, always within your limits. Caution is the key to sustainable investing.

Ho perso il 94% del mio capitale. Ecco la verità che nessuno dice. Raga… scrivo questo post non per pietà, ma perché magari può servire a qualcuno che sta passando lo stesso inferno. Negli ultimi mesi ho perso più di 3200€. Ho iniziato con sogni enormi: volevo una macchina, volevo indipendenza, volevo dimostrare che anche un ragazzo da 18–19 anni poteva farcela. Ho iniziato a usare la leva, pensando fosse scorciatoia. Ogni volta che perdevo, dicevo: “Recupero con la prossima.” Ogni volta che guadagnavo, pensavo: “Dai che funziona!” E invece la realtà è stata questa: 👉 +60% 👉 –80% 👉 stop loss preso 100 volte 👉 conto dimezzato, poi dimezzato ancora… 👉 oggi mi ritrovo con 22€. Ho perso soldi, fiducia e pure la testa. Ma non il mio sogno. Scrivo questo post per tre motivi: 1️⃣ Non usate la leva se non sapete quello che state facendo. 2️⃣ Anche chi casca può rialzarsi. 3️⃣ Se anche voi avete perso tanto, raccontatelo qui sotto. Non siete soli. Io riparto da zero. Niente leva, solo BTC/ETH/SOL spot, accumulo lento. Voglio vedere dove arrivo tra un anno. Se sei arrivato fin qui, lascia un like… magari questo post serve a qualcuno che sta facendo gli stessi errori.
