Alright, real talk about RWAs. The tokenization narrative has been running since like 2018 and we're still mostly talking about it instead of doing it. Why? Technology works, regulations are clarifying, institutions are interested... but the infrastructure is a fragmented mess that nobody wants to be first to figure out. You need tokenization rails. Trading infrastructure. Compliance tooling. Custody solutions. Each one exists somewhere but getting them to work together? That's the actual problem blocking adoption. Institutions aren't going to pioneer integrating five different service providers hoping they all play nice together. The risk/reward doesn't make sense when you're the guinea pig. Plume said "forget that" and built everything natively into a modular L2. Tokenization, trading, compliance, all part of the protocol layer instead of duct-taped together from separate vendors. That de-risks the entire process for institutions who want to explore tokenization without becoming system integration experts.
