According to PANews, Nikita Bier, a partner at Lightspeed Ventures, has joined X as the head of product. Bier, who previously joined Solana Labs as an advisor in March to support the development of its mobile application ecosystem, has a history of successful ventures. His social platforms, TBH and Gas, were acquired by Meta and Discord, respectively.
Bier aims to leverage X's AI tool, Grok, to help users create more relevant timelines and understand platform dynamics. Grok, an AI chatbot developed by X's AI division xAI, is expected to release its latest AI model in the coming weeks. Additionally, Elon Musk has hinted at the potential integration of more cryptocurrency features on the platform.
