Amazing turnout at our yesterday's Seoul event with @Xangle_official - packed room discussing our latest protocol improvements and the future of stablecoins with @QuillFi's USDQ.

"I couldn't sleep using normal DeFi lending. You need to be awake 24/7 because it can all drop 50% while you're asleep".

That's why @CurveFinance built something new.

Instead of instant liquidation that wipes you out, they created "soft liquidations" that protect your money.

When your government creates a "Dollar Coldplay" exchange rate just for concert tickets, something has gone seriously wrong...

Argentina has different dollar rates for everything:

> Dollar blue for the black market.
> Dollar Qatar for the World Cup.
> Even dollar "small face" for older bills that somehow count as less valuable.

People can lose 40% of their money just trying to exchange currency at the "official" rate. And that's not a small fee - that's losing nearly half your paycheck because you used the wrong exchange window.

What happens instead? People turn to stablecoins.

A snapshot has been taken on April 30th, 00:00 UTC - after which, Marks are no longer accruing.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped shape the early Scroll ecosystem.

Here’s what’s next:

1/ Building for users, focusing on long-term impact

Our mission is the same: build the Open Economy by supporting founders, users, and applications where blockchain is truly needed - not just wanted.
But how we get there is changing - broad incentive programs like Sessions 2 are no longer the right fit.

We’re shifting focus to backing teams like @QuillFi, @vifi_labs, @ether_fi Cash and @honeypop_app - who are solving problems for people across continents.

2/ A more focused, builder-first strategy

Our ecosystem growth strategy is becoming more focused, more collaborative, and more committed to builders shaping our ecosystem.

What this means:
• New programs designed around real usage and long-term impact.

• Funding teams building with purpose, solving real problems, and committed to the journey.

• Working directly with founders to tailor incentive programs that meet their needs at every stage of growth.

3/ What you need to know:

• Snapshot for Sessions 2 Marks has been taken on April 30th at 00:00 UTC.

• Marks will no longer accrue after this date.
• The Sessions dashboard will remain available so you can view the Marks you’ve accrued.

• Stay tuned for more updates on incentives rewards, happening later in Q4 of 2025.

During the workshop:

• 37 participants from various background showed up eager to learn (including a lecturer who got thoroughly web3-pilled!)

• We started with a journey from web1 to web3, breaking down the technologies that are ready today to embrace web3

• Moved onto hands-on smart contract development in @EthereumRemix, exploring functions and state interactions

• Leveled up to the final boss: building a fully decentralized app using @ScaffoldETH and @buidlguidl, complete with uploading to IPFS!
