Ethereum is preparing for the Glamsterdam fork by 2026 to significantly boost transaction processing with near-perfect parallel execution and increased Gas limits. Validators will focus on verifying zero-knowledge proofs to improve scalability, aiming for up to 10,000 transactions per second in the future. Layer 2 enhancements and interoperability with a privacy focus will further strengthen Ethereum's network, with the Heze-Bogota fork enhancing censorship resistance by the end of this year.
