đŸ”„ Tether Buys More Bitcoin! $1 Billion Added to Reserves – Treasury Hits $9.7B đŸ”„

Stablecoin giant Tether has just boosted its Bitcoin holdings with a fresh $1 billion purchase, acquired directly from Bitfinex. The transaction brings Tether’s total $BTC reserves to approximately $9.7 billion, or 86,000 bitcoins.

This move follows a similar acquisition earlier this year to fund the strategic reserve of Twenty One Capital, led by Jack Mallers, CEO of Strike.

With this latest buy, Tether now ranks among the top corporate holders of BTC globally, trailing only Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) and mining firm MARA.

The company’s strategy is clear: fortify its reserves with scarce, decentralized assets like Bitcoin and gold, rather than relying solely on Treasury securities.

This reinforces the growing narrative that BTC is becoming a legitimate institutional reserve asset, used to protect liquidity and hedge against macro uncertainty.

There’s an opportunity few are seeing — and it could explode soon with 1000% potential. It’s in my pinned post. 💣📌
