If there's ever a good level where alts should be bouncing, it's here.
Fingers crossed 🤞

Whether we like it or not, the past few years and this cycle, altcoins have only been able to run when Bitcoin has been smashing new highs rapidly. Not when it's been dropping, not when it has been ranging and not when it has been reclaiming a prior local high. ONLY when it has confidentially broke prior local highs and surged above and beyond. What does that mean today? That again, whether we like it or not, alts will only get decent exposure once Bitcoin breaks above $110k WITH CONFIDENCE (not small and shallow breaks). Does it always have to be that way? No, something needs to change (significant narratives or catalysts like risk-on season with QE or other factors). When it does it can switch up the current model like we have done before in the past. But right now this is the way it is for alts.

We've almost forgotten how it feels like when Bitcoin dominance goes down. And ever since a few years ago dominance has continued to soar higher and break any resistance along the way. However, we are not that far of from a multi-year tested resistance level that hasn't failed yet to this day. Will the market frontrun it? Or only drop at the exact obvious?

1/ Ever tried to send someone USDC and realized it’s the wrong chain, wrong wallet, or they don’t even have a wallet? Yeah. On-chain payments are still kind of broken. But that might be changing soon… 🧵👇

If your team handles crypto, using shared wallets, multi-sig hacks, or homegrown scripts to move assets isn't always the best decision unlike what you would think. It works until it doesn’t. One missed signer. One wrong address. One “who has the key?” moment (you know where I'm getting at). The most practical infra we have today for secure, team-friendly ops is probably @iofinnet. It's not an exchange. Not a wallet app. It’s a platform that gives teams a clean, secure way to manage digital assets without giving up control. 1️⃣ Self-custody powered by trustless MPC (no single point of failure) 2️⃣ Simulate transactions before signing 3️⃣ Set signing policies (roles, thresholds, multi-approvals) 4️⃣ See all your assets across 14+ exchanges 5️⃣ Automate signing flows via API 6️⃣ No fees on volume or assets under custody It supports 100k+ assets - BTC, ETH, Polygon, TAO, you name it. And it’s built by folks who’ve been deep in the space (ex-Binance, Bitfinex, banking). Already used by 1,500+ teams. If you’re building anything involving crypto treasury, staking, DeFi ops, trading, or infra this is worth checking out.

Not saying this particularly means the start of anything yet at all but: This time TRULY is the phase where people aren't just thinking it won't happen anymore but literally were they just don't care anymore. Just lots of people not even watching anymore and going on with their lives. Not saying all things repeat itself exactly but feels awfully familiar to prior days in the market in the past. And those that are saying: "Yeah but those were bear market days. This is a bull market" Well it isn't. It's a bitcoin bull market and while Bitcoin is crypto, crypto ain't just Bitcoin. Compare on-chain volume today vs on-chain volume in past bull markets and bear markets and you have your answer. It's no bull market today but I'm still optimistic about what can be. Especially because most just starting to stop caring right now and move on.
