should we remove annualized fees and revenue numbers from defillama? just report 30d values and let users multiply by 12 by themselves if they want it annualized?

all the projects that tried to do trading of pre-market coins or stocks failed fundamentally there's a clear demand for this, and crypto can enable it, but nothing has worked other than stuff like perps very close to launch

The idea of companies raising money launching shitcoins through believe app seems extremely inefficient: - from the company side: total money raised is way lower - from the buyer side: creators can snipe their own coin and dump without vesting, no incentive to build long term

a few years ago, when defillama only tracked TVL, I saw the trend towards tracking defi revenue and it was scary so i pivoted defillama to focus on being the #1 provider of revenue data A few years down the line, now we are the most comprehensive defi revenue tracker

We are adding a new App Fees/Chain GDP metric to defillama, which will track the sum of fees on all apps in a chain (AAVE, uniswap...) with the goal of tracking economic activity Should we add sequencer fees for L2s into GDP of L1? Why/why not?
