After the recent vote on @ethos_network, they’ve decided to also remove points from users who left positive reviews on profiles that ended up getting slashed. I still really like what @ethos_network is building, but I’m not sure if I agree with this particular move. Tho respect to everyone who voted in favor. But here’s a thought: Let’s say I like Milka chocolate. Now imagine the majority decides they don’t like it and chooses to boycott the brand. So does this changes my taste buds ?? Probably not.. Does that mean I now have to pretend to agree with the majority just to protect myself (more like protect my credibility points) and say, “Yeah, I boycott Milka too”? 🤔 Probably not the most credible way if the platform itself is asking me to lie. @serpinxbt curious to hear your thoughts. Let’s say I personally like @blast that’s my honest POV. But mostly weight on their strategy to bring attention. But if the majority doesn’t and votes to slash this profile, do I now have to go delete my positive review just to avoid losing points? Feels odd. If a platform starts forcing me to change my opinion just to stay safe, is it really the right place to build trust and credibility? also would love to hear the voice from other's who love the @ethos_network platform. .

Just hopped off a Venture and Grant call. The concept of DID profiling is next level. No more connecting wallets left, right, and center. Clean and seamless. Sure this gave me a validation that no one is speaking about this.. even @Consensys with @MetaMask will want this.. cause @wallet_guard solution is also after getting reckt or authorizing wallets. One big question came up was “Why not launch a token to raise?” My answer, we are starting with community first. So starting with community… then raising based on that data… and then launching a token… just to sell it back to the same community? Hmm. That’s not the vision. No token raise. Full stop. 🛑 Halaas If someone wants to copy @house_akari, go ahead. But I am not here for that vision. Tokens often raise the entry barrier. Turn focus to price, not purpose. Community gets drained, not empowered. Specially in a product to bring security and safety layer before people gets drained Not everything needs a token. I know @jessepollak advocates for that; but I am sure he means other things other wise @base also would have a token as well @coinbase Thanks to those who are supporting the @house_akari movement at this stage already.. ❤️❤️
