Last point about the Summit before I move on. To me it represented the very things that made me interested in building on AVAX:
1. Extremely intentional & detail oriented- they rented out a castle basically, offered cuisines from 4 different nationalities (Indian, Spanish, Italian, British), everything was accessible for anyone w disabilities or other constraints etc.
2. Focus on quality & providing value- the castle ofc, KOLs were given free flight & hotel (I did not accept this offer), all events were basically open bar, everyone in the org was easy to meet & seemed interested in being helpful.
3. Strong focus on culture- lots of art exhibitions, musical performances, relationship building, very little talk of mercenary capital.
4. Very strong diversity- more females by a large margin than any other crypto event, many LATAM & Black individuals, international music & cuisine, zero drama or ego anywhere (for the most part)
5. Strong builder culture- very easy to connect with other builders, everyone talking about ideas, not token schemes.
In short, no lambos, no watches, no bling, no Dubai, no talk of retiring one’s parents, no teenagers who got rich in the trenches, just mature adults, all good vibes & fun.
