Being a day trader is glorified by fake, unprofitable instagram gurus trying to sell you a course They spread the disingenuous belief that to make money in the markets you have to be glued to the screen for 12 hours a day and be constantly trading. The more trades you take the better. When in reality, it's the other way around. Trading is 90% waiting and the biggest cause of unprofitability is overtrading... i.e. taking shit/forced trades Most ppl would be significantly better off passively investing / swing trading with a steady income stream & multi year time horizon. I could be wrong, but I believe BTC will flip gold mcap in next 10 years. Instead of throwing ur money away time and time again on leverage: just DCA a % of ur income into spot BTC every month. No leverage. There's your investing base. Before you know it, that will build up to a nice amount. You then have a psychological cushion and can day trade / gamble with a small amount knowing you have a solid investment port to fall back on However, if you want to be a full time day trader and are day trading with all the money you have just to make money for rent/make ends meat, the heightened emotion brings significantly higher risk. You will blow up. Just don't it. Trade/invest smart and lengthen ur time horizon
