According to Dune Analytics data, the Base chain, a second-layer solution for the Ethereum network backed by Coinbase, has reached a notable milestone with over 10 million blocks generated. As of now, the block count stands at 10.19 million, and gas consumption on the Base chain has reached a total of 3327.8402 ETH.

In terms of transaction volume, data indicates a strong utilization of the Base chain, showing roughly 90.82 million transactions conducted through this layer. Out of these, more than 80 million are user transactions, reinforcing the significant adoption and use of the Base chain by individual users.

Another interesting statistic highlighted in the report is the number of contracts created on the Base chain. Currently, this stands at 4,632,353, highlighting the substantial use of the network for creating and deploying smart contracts.

Overall, this data suggests strong network activity and adoption rates for the Base chain, marking it as an increasingly popular choice for transactions and contract creation within the Ethereum ecosystem.
