According to Foresight News, cross-chain interoperability protocol LayerZero has announced the launch of its V2, featuring new functionalities such as universal message passing, modular security, permissionless execution, unified semantics, and V1 compatibility. LayerZero V2 aims to bring permissionless, censorship-resistant, and immutable interoperability to over 20 different chains.
