According to CoinGecko data on December 28, Binance Coin (BNB) once again took over Solana (SOL) in terms of total market cap. With an estimated value of approximately $51.28 billion, BNB overcame SOL's $45.19 billion market standing to reclaim the fourth spot in cryptocurrency market cap rankings. It's noteworthy to mention that the market cap of SOL had previously surpassed BNB on December 22.
