In a recent AMA session with Binance CEO Richard Teng and co-founder Yi He, it was revealed that Binance Labs has recalibrated its focus. They are now concentrating their efforts on the launch of the MVB accelerator program, in collaboration with BNB Chain and CMC Labs. Their primary goal is to support long-term, ambitious projects thriving in the Web3 landscape.
Yi He highlighted that, across the broader crypto industry, certain project categories—such as DeFi, derivatives, or those hinged on transactional functions—are flourishing. However, numerous other projects still lack mature business models.
