According to Foresight News, Layer2 interoperability protocol Connext has announced a network upgrade called Bacco, scheduled for December 14. The upgrade significantly reduces the network's operational costs and enables Connext to rapidly expand to new chains and L2s. Bacco changes the way messages are passed between chains, with messages being transmitted between chains through the Connext Sequencer, rather than through other Rollup sequencers. This is influenced by the fault-proof window and observer disputes.
