According to PANews, a report by Henley & Partners and New World Wealth reveals a substantial increase in global cryptocurrency wealth. The "2025 Cryptocurrency Wealth Report" indicates that the number of individuals holding over $1 million in crypto assets has reached 241,700, marking a 40% rise over the past year. Specifically, the number of people possessing more than $1 million in Bitcoin has surged by 70% year-on-year, totaling 145,100.
Furthermore, the report highlights the presence of 450 individuals with crypto assets valued at over $100 million and 36 billionaires holding more than $1 billion in cryptocurrency. These figures represent year-on-year increases of 8% and 29%, respectively.
Analysts attribute this growth to the accelerated entry of institutional investors and the introduction of state-supported digital currency initiatives by various countries.
