Former U.S. President Donald Trump has provided new data on his crypto income and holdings in a financial disclosure to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). The filing includes balance information for an Ethereum wallet that collects proceeds from sales of Trump-branded non-fungible tokens (NFTs), as well as the revenue generated from them.

Donald Trump, the front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination who is looking to win a second non-consecutive term in the White House, has filed a new disclosure as a candidate about various sources of income that could help him finance his campaign.

They include a Miami business and property with a golf course and a resort valued at more than $50 million that generated $145.8 million in revenue in 2022 and through the end of April this year, Bloomberg noted in a report.

Federal candidates in the United States are required to disclose the value of certain assets and certain types of income to a wide extent. These include, for example, dividends, capital gains, interest, rent, and royalties. Income from some other sources, such as salary and speaking fees, must be disclosed in exact amounts.

Trump's filings show that one company made $9.7 million by licensing his likeness on non-fungible tokens (NFTS), and that CIC Digital LLC held cryptocurrency wallets with at least $1 million in ethereum. ETH earned $2.8 million.

In a previous report disclosed in July, Donald Trump announced that CIC Digital had only $500,000 in its wallet and no income. At the time, the company also had a legal bank account with a balance of less than $1,000.

NFTs minted for Trump digital trading cards depicted the 45th president of the United States as a variety of characters, including Superman, last December, with the first pin sold within hours.

Unlike other Republican presidential hopefuls, such as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy, Donald Trump has a more positive attitude toward cryptocurrencies, but he is not a big fan of Bitcoin and others. During his presidency, he once said that their value was fabricated.
