2. In order to make it easier for users with no basic knowledge in the web3 field to get started, we have made an entry-level Lens interaction process for your reference

1. Download Google Chrome

2. Download MetaMask from Google's official online app store

3. Add horseshoe network

After downloading Little Fox, create a Matic/Polygon wallet (English name: Matic/Polygon), the chain ID of Matic is: 137

After installing the little fox, click on the avatar, find settings, select network, find the "Add network" option in "Network", select Add Polygon, fill in the horseshoe chain network information according to the example in the figure below and click Save.

If it is the first time you use Little Fox, the system will prompt you to create a password, which you can think of as a "phone screen unlock" password or a "wallet password". Its function is that all wallet addresses and transaction passwords generated by this plug-in on this server and computer are this password.

4. Create a horseshoe chain wallet account

After linking the Horseshoe Chain network, start creating an account. Click on the avatar - Create Account - Edit Account Name

Please note that the key is not the same as the "wallet password/screen password" mentioned in the second point.

The key is the password corresponding to this wallet and cannot be changed. With the account password, you can import and use the funds in different wallets, so you must protect the security of your personal wallet key;

The string of characters in the wallet address is similar to a bank account number;

The wallet address QR code is similar to the payment code;

The chain to which the wallet belongs is similar to different banks;

So you can simply understand that you have an account in Horseshoe Bank, so when we recharge this address, we must also choose Horseshoe Chain, otherwise the assets will be lost.

5. Top up and purchase Lens NFT

After the address is ready, we are ready to buy Lens NFT. Open the OpenSea official website with Google Chrome, log in with the Little Fox wallet, and then find the official series of Lens

We can see that the selling price units are mainly USDC/ETH/Matic, so we need to transfer some corresponding cryptocurrencies to the wallet address for payment. Special attention should be paid to the use of Polygon Horseshoe Chain for transfers. Funds on other chains such as ETH and BSC cannot be used on the Horseshoe Chain.

At the same time, you also need some Matic as the gas fee for using the blockchain network, 0.1~1 Matic is enough.

After the transfer is received, select the NFT with the lowest price, click Add to Cart, and finally click Complete Payment.

After purchasing the NFT, we will go to Lens’ official website to complete the relevant interactive work.

6. Lens official website login and project interaction

After purchasing the Lens domain name, we can start interacting. Go to the project official website and log in to the Lens official website using the wallet address with the registered Lens domain name.

If you are not a newbie to web3 like me, and you hold the Rabbit Hole credential nft, you can also get a Lens domain name (the snapshot was taken on June 8, so if you don’t have it, don’t do it for this). After successfully logging in with the wallet address, click “Check your claimable handles”.

  • Fill in personal information

  • Follow other people’s accounts, like and repost their posts. If the other party sets Post as a free NFT, you can also collect it.
