Hello everyone, I am Ray. Today is a tutorial to teach you how to encrypt your own cold wallet. 80% of all the U thefts now are authorized by multi-signature, which makes you unable to control your own account. So is there any way to solve the risk of multi-signature?
It doesn't matter. To put it simply, the purpose of the scammers' theft is to control our wallets through multi-signature authorization. As long as we multi-sign the cold wallet first, it is equivalent to putting a key on my cold wallet. Even if the scammers steal my wallet, they can only get a lock, not a key.
As long as I don't give him the key, he can't touch my USDT. If he wants to modify the permissions, he must get my second wallet to agree, otherwise he can't transfer it. The most secure wallet encryption method now is 121, which means one main wallet, two control wallets, and one external auxiliary wallet.
The first step is to check whether our main wallet has been multi-signed. We enter our TRX payment chain in the TRON browser, find the account permissions, and make sure that the main wallet has not been authorized in any way.
The second step is to create a control wallet and save it properly. You can create a wallet with a mnemonic phrase. You can use any regular cold wallet to create one. The most important thing is to save the mnemonic phrase.
Some people say that it is better to just take a screenshot. Let me emphasize again here, don't take a screenshot! Don't take a screenshot! Don't take a screenshot! Don't take a screenshot. It has happened many times. Don't do it! There is a method provided by a domestic friend, which is to write it down and save it.
Many people say that what Ray said is not safe, and it is easy to forget and lose. Many people also say that this is easy to lose. In theory, this is correct, but you have to think about it, what paper items do you have at home that you must use, and you will not easily take them out to show others, and you will definitely remember them?
Think about it, yes, it is the household registration book and the passbook, written on the last page to ensure safety, and you may never easily show these two things to others in your life. This is a unique Chinese way of preservation.
The third step, which is also the final step of the setting, is to open the TRON browser and click on the login button in the upper right corner. Here, we need to install a cold wallet plug-in.
After logging in, we click on our account permissions and select edit permissions. Here we add the addresses of the two control wallets and the auxiliary wallet in turn. What is an auxiliary wallet? If you lose the two control wallets or forget them, you can also ask a third party to help you recover them.
Here I use a guest chain I wrote. It is very important to choose a third party for an account. It is your last wallet guarantee. After we add two control wallets and an auxiliary wallet, there is a weight option. What is weight? In fact, it is a penalty value. We choose two, which is 4 accounts. When we trade, two accounts must agree to the transaction to succeed. If there are less than two accounts, the transaction will fail.
Finally, we set the activity permissions. It is the same operation. If you need to select, I will directly show the picture. You can just add it according to my method. The penalty value is also option 2, that is, 4 accounts. Two accounts must agree to it. If one account is missing, this account cannot be operated. With this setting, we can avoid 90% of the multiple sign-in advantages.
How to avoid the last 10%? Of course, it is to generate a cold wallet for transfer transactions, etc. Because the USDT in the multi-signature wallet cannot be directly transferred to the exchange, when transferring money, you must first check whether the cold wallet has been multi-signed, and then transfer the money from the main wallet to the trading wallet.
Enter the address directly to transfer money, refuse to scan the QR code and only fill in the trc20 address. In this way, we will never have our money stolen.
That’s all for this issue. If this issue is helpful to you, please support it! I’m Ray. See you next time!
