On the evening of August 11, a New York judge will decide in a few hours whether to send Bankman-Fried to prison.

Federal prosecutors have asked U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan to revoke the FTX founder’s bail for alleged witness tampering. If the judge sides with the government, Bankman-Fried will be held in custody until October 2 during a court hearing in Manhattan.
