Nov. 28 - Game7 launched a $100 million grant program to accelerate Web3 game development that will allow developers to build tools, create educational programs, host events, and conduct research to make the Web3 video game industry more diverse and accessible. The $100 million grant will be distributed at $20 million per year for the next five years. Grants will be distributed to Web3 game projects through five categories: technology, events, diversity, education, and research, and developers can apply on the Game7 Grants Portal. Game7 is said to be a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) based in San Francisco, USA, supported by BitDAO and the Forte ecosystem.
