GRT is a currency locked by indexers, curators and commissioners in order to provide indexing and curation services to the network.

GRT runs on the ERC-20 Ethereum network and is used to allocate resources in the network. Active indexers, curators and delegates can earn income from the network proportional to the amount of work they perform and their GRT quota.

Indexers earn indexing bonuses (new issue) and query fees, while curators earn a portion of the currency query fees.
